Matteo Valmora (they/them) is a Canadian-born Italian artist based in Montreal, working across mediums like fashion design, styling, and graphic design.
As a queer, non-gender conforming artist, their work challenges the binary structures within fashion and art. Their aim is to inspire others to move beyond rigid gender norms and to embrace the fluidity of identity—there are no definitions or limits to being, and no boxes to fit into.
In 2020, Matteo launched their brand, Valmora, which was inspired by a mountain they saw on their way home from work.
